ECO Committee
Our ECO committee continues to thrive and is led by Mr Furniss and supported by Mrs Clemens. This year, we have another wonderful enthusiastic and proactive group of children. Two children from each class are elected each September
Our focus, this year is to work on our sustainability plan covering the following areas:
Plastic and Water, Recycling, Energy and Clean Air, Plants and Animals and Travel. During this year academic year different classes will focus on an area; becoming ECO experts!
In addition to this work, some of the leaders have become energy monitors and some have undertaken some litter picking around the school grounds.
This year, we are also hoping to start harvesting rainwater to use in our garden, develop our sensory area and plant some more trees.
